Some of the instruments for our weekly music sessions – everyone loves to sing and dance! Music has a way of sparking wonderful feelings and memories and is very therapeutic. We love celebrations – birthdays, Christmas, Diwali, Eid, Easter, Valentine’s – you name it! Any excuse to decorate, eat, drink and be merry! Studies have found that happiness was the result of social wellbeing, embracing the community and having close relationships at every stage of life. At Arama, we make every effort to celebrate each day and endeavour to bring as much happiness to our residents as we can.

We have a range of board games and puzzles – something for everyone. Food, glorious food! We cater to different needs and preferences and encourage residents to get involved in the cooking. Our food is freshly cooked with the best Kenyan ingredients. Healthy nutritious and fresh food helps to keep our body and mind healthy and aids in the ageing journey. Also helps to keep diseases at bay.
